Things you will need...


If you don’t already have a logo, you will need one for your business cards, envelopes, website, etc... When designing a logo, keep it simple! Make sure it’s easy to read when viewed in small scale and when viewed on a black background with white lettering. Horizontal logos work best!

Your Logo should be in one of the following formats: JPG, GIF, EPS or PNG. The finished logo on the site will be approximately 320 pixels wide by 150 pixels tall (A horizontal logo is recommended. A square logo will be 150 x 150 and hardly readable.).

Licensed Images

You must use licensed images. You can purchase a license from any third-party photo stock website (i.e.,,,, etc... ) Image licenses cost as little as
$3 - $7 per photo.

NOTE: When using a “FREE” stock photo website, be sure that the “FREE” license includes business use. Most “FREE” images are only "free" for personal use or educational. On your website, you will need photos for the following: CRUISES, VACATIONS, HOTELS & RESORTS, SIGNATURE COLLECTION, ALASKA, HAWAII, MEXICO, ABOUT US, WELCOME, WIN A FREE TRIP (background image) and YOUR LOGO.
Yes, you can use photos you have taken yourself!


Before we create your website, we will need some text from you:

  1. A Brief Description of Your Services This will be your “Welcome to my website” text. One long paragraph or two small paragraphs will do the trick!

  2. A Description of Your Company (About Us) This text can be as long as you want. Add endorsements in your Biography, destination experience, supplier experience, and much more.
  3. NOTE: Later on, you will be able to make changes to Items (1) and (2) above via your Content Management System (CMS).

Choose a Template + Color Scheme

From your Signature Host Agency to ADVAIA

Your Signature Host Agency notifies us of a new sign up. Once we receive the information from the Host Agency, ADVAIA will generate an invoice for your new web site plan fees and send you our Payment Authorization form. Once you have paid these fees ADVAIA willcreate your account. As soon as the account is created, our system generates a few emails that are sent to you with login information and detailed instructions.

Submit Your Content

Once logged into ADVAIA, you will be able to upload your website content and photos, so we can get your website started. During this process, you will be able to choose your template and color scheme, along with submitting the items listed in STEP 1. NOTE: The submission process is a “ONE-TIME” step. We strongly advise that you gather all the information we request, prior to submitting.

The Production Stage

Once you have successfully submitted all the information to ADVAIA, we will notify you that it has been approved or if you are missing anything and what is needed. we can begin creating your new website once everything is approved. The website production process can take between a day and a few weeks. We try to get the websites completed as quickly as possible, however, these are created on a “first come” basis. Production times vary depending on how many websites are in the que.

Website Review

When your website is almost ready, we will send you an email asking you to review your website. At this time, you will be asked to login into your CMS and create your Travel Specials, update your Travel Banners, etc... Once you have completed reviewing the training videos and adding your banner and specials, your website is ready and we can start launching your new website. We believe that this process should take no longer than 2-3-business days. If more time is needed, please ask.

The Launch Process

When your is pointing to our server, we will update all your website links so that they resolve under your domain name.

Monthly Hosting/Service Fees

Following the completion and launch of your new web site you will be billed the first months pro-rated service and hosting fee. Thereafter your monthly payment of $22.00 will be charged automatically on the 30th day of each month.

Keep it Current

Now that your website is up and running, make sure your travel specials and banners displayed on your website are current and not expired. Up-to-date content is vital in the travel industry!

Promote! Promote! Promote!

Once you put a seed in the ground, it’s important to add water, if you want to see a plant grow. Promoting, is what we call the “watering stage”. Fortunately, there are many ways to promote your website! Here are a few ideas:

  1. Social Media
    These days we have all kinds of tools available to us, and Social Media is a very powerful way to promote your business. Do you have a “last-minute special” or a “two-day sale” from a vendor? Twitter and Facebook are the perfect places to advertise! Make sure that they are linking back to your web site!

    Have you visited a unique destination lately? Post your personal travel videos on YouTube to excite people and encourage them to join you on your next endeavor.

    These tools are FREE – use them to your advantage!
  2. Marketing Signature
    Travel Network provides you a lot of tools to help you promote and grow your business. Familiarize yourself with the tools provided in SIGNET.
  3. Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
    Let the search engines (i.e. Google) do the work for you! We can talk about (SEO) for days... but since we don’t have “days” the #1 thing we can suggest is creating a WordPress Blog (more in STEP 4)
  4. Update your Banner regularly
    Use Signature Digital Media Banners and link them to a branded Signature page. Remember, this is one of the first things that visitors see when coming to your web site. No one likes an expired banner ad.
  5. Update your SPECIALS weekly
    Get in the habit to update your specials on a regular scheduled basis. Offers are added daily and can be sorted in date-in order under Signature Promotions in SigNet. No Exclusive Offers under that title is not something that you want your visitors to see.
  6. Develop a weekly or monthly marketing plan
    Use Signature Digital Media Banners and Signature Promotions by supplier, destination or type of product.

Know Your Viewers

It is very important to know who is looking at your website! What pages are they visiting? Where are they coming from? How long are they staying? What are they looking for? Google provides a FREE tool, called GOOGLE ANALYTICS. Once you create an account, and provide us your unique code, we can add it to your website, so can look at your stats and get a clear idea of who is vising your website.


SSL Certificate

If you are not familiar with the term, an SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificate is a digital certificate that authenticates the identity of a website and encrypts information sent to the server.

THE BORING PORTION: When a certificate is successfully installed, the (HTTP) will change to HTTPs, where the ‘S’ stands for ‘secure’. A browser will show a padlock or green bar in the browser when you visit a website that has an SSL Certificate installed.

Is an SSL Certificate Recommended? ABSOLUTELY!

Why? Do you want your website to be listed on Search Engines?

In the recent years, with the growing concern on security, Google has announced that websites with SSL Certificates, would be listed above websites that don’t have one. So, if you want your website to have good ranking, we highly recommend adding an SSL to your website!

Create a Blog

To generate traffic, the best recommendation we can make, is adding a Blog to your website. A Blog will allow you to create unlimited website pages. These can be “topic” driven and they are automatically setup to be (SEO) friendly.
